Alright.
So, I have this friend who the past several years I've slowly and slowly been drifting from.
She's very materialistic which I'm not.
She complains about her weight and starves herself, yet a few weeks later when she actually does he she complains to me again about gaining weight. When I try to tell her basic nutritional facts, it goes in one ear then out the other.
She doesn't text/call/or come by my house. I have to be the one to get a hold of her pretty much. She never just calls or text just to say hi like I do sometimes.
And she's been hanging out with this guy who has swastika's on his arm. I call him a Nazi. And within 24 hours I had heard NOTHING good about him from 6 different people. I also heard he was using my friend's car to go see an ex, in fact, I know his ex and she was telling me I needed to let my other friend know. In the end, I was basicly told that she didn't care what I said.
It just seems like the only time she wants to hang out is when I'm a last resort.
I've tried being there for her, a few years ago when she needed help getting to and from work, I was always there to pick her up. But then when I needed a friend she never came by (mostly because she got a car).
I'm really starting to rethink this friendship over. I won't lie. We do have a few things in coomon and we do have many good times under our belts... But just the past year she's been annoying me really bad.
I seriously wonder if I should drop her or not. I don't think friendship should be a one street way.

Dear Anonymous,
It sounds to me like she’s already dropped you, and it’s taken you way too long to figure it out. Think about it: she doesn’t care what you think of her boyfriend, she doesn’t return your calls, and you have to do all the pursuing in the “friendship.” You need to get the hint: she dropped you first.
Move on. Friends are easy to find.
Best regards,
